A plush new dormitory opened for JNU students with 678 rooms and 1,650 beds. The housing unit constructed in accordance with BTL (Build Transfer Lease) contract agreements had an opening ceremony in the lobby of the new building earlier this year (February 26, 2009). The housing unit provides useful living quarters and meeting spaces such as seminar room, dining halls, and TV rooms. It is well equipped with appliances for Laundromat, physical fitness,, computers, etc. 678 rooms in the housing unit comfortably accommodate 1,650 students.
