The Jeju YWCA is calling for volunteers to serve at the forthcoming walking contest event as follows:

In the first weekend of July we are planning to organize a trip to Udo Island.
To help celebrate the 15th Anniversary Day of Handicapped Students in Jeju a number of student volunteers are needed. Volunteers are to collaborate with the students who are physically handicapped and to encourage them to build self-confidence for their future through creative writing and other initiatives. The 4th Jeju Multi-cultural Festival will be held on the Chulsing-ro Street (near Tapdong).
We would like to invite foreign students to the famous Korean Opera «Opera Beakrokdam» (Main Theater, Jeju Culture and Art Center).
Another festival to go visit before the spring is over. There will be 24th Mt Taebaek Royal Azalea Blossom Festival in and around Mt Taebaek Provincial Park and Recreation area as follows:

If you want to know everything about herbal plants, go visit this year’s Namwon Hebal Plants Festival being held along Mt Jiri Herb Valley near the city of Namwon, Chollabuk-do Province. The 2009 festival’s theme is “Together with Lovely Herbal Fragrance,” which is fragrantly pleasing as you experience and walk through white chamomile blossom, Mt Jiri wild flower parks and exhibition halls, herb tasting, herb museum, herbal food, and even a seminar all about herbs and herbal plants.
