Jeju National University International Students Organization (JISO) is the sole student body in Jeju National University for the international students.
The organization is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political, and run by the international students of Jeju National University democratically.
The purpose of the JISO shall be to promote the well being of international students at Jeju National University. In addition, JISO supports the interaction and understanding between international students at Jeju National University and the people of Jeju, Korea.
JISO will intend and in its capacity, will make sure to accomplish following clauses:
1. JISO will provide a forum for social interaction and exchange of information among all the international students of university irrespective of religion, ethnicity and origin.
2. JISO will try its utmost for the safety of rights of international students in the university.
3. JISO will try its utmost to make the stay of international students at the university easy and engaging.
4. JISO will be responsible for the arrangement of social meetings and regular social events, summer/fall new student orientations and it may host social fundraising events for helping needy students.
5. JISO will be responsible for the mitigation of problems and difficulties faced by the international students however JISO will not indulge in religious and ethnic problems of the students.
6. JISO will follow the binding constitution (if any) of Jeju National University, Jeju, South Korea and will never attempt to challenge the writ of Jeju National University.
